Captain Rachel Grant captains a cargo vessel in the Puget Sound / Juan de Fuco Strait, and ferried MMFEC, in a hold full of fish, to San Juan Island on their mission to find Emile Corrigan. She is the ex, at some level, of Captain Paul Moore, and her vessel features custom artwork featuring a mermaid drowning a sailor who looks a lot like Captain Moore.
